Entrepreneurship Study Trip to Taiwan

The Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) and Center for Entrepreneurship (CfE) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong will jointly organize a 5-day entrepreneurship study trip to Taiwan from 21 June to 25 June 2015. All CUHK students who are interested in entrepreneurship are welcome to apply!

The study trip offers students a great learning experience and broadens their horizon, by connecting them with the energetic start-up community, including start-up companies, accelerators, universities etc. in Taiwan. Participants will be inspired by and exchange ideas with successful local startups, through a series of events including workshops and sharing.

Application

• All full-time CUHK students (undergraduates and postgraduates) in any discipline are eligible to apply.
• Interested students please complete the Application Form in the link at the bottom of this page and submit the soft copy to isabella@cuhk.edu.hk, or the hard copy to Isabella Wong, Center for Entrepreneurship at Room 951, Cheng Yu Tung Building, CUHK by 11 May 2015 (Monday), 12:00 noon.
• All applications will be reviewed and selected based on the criteria listed in the application form.

Fees

• Participants are required to submit a cheque with the amount of $2000 as a non-refundable deposit, payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong” by 18 May 2015 (Monday), 12:00 noon.
• Any 2 participants who apply together can enjoy a discount of $300 per person.

Notes

• Each participant is required to submit a 3-mins video after the trip to summarize his/her experience, memorable moments, and how the knowledge learned from the trip could be applied to his/her entrepreneurial idea.
