Mr. TSANG Richard
A graduate of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Richard majored in Journalism and Communication. He is the Chairman of the Alumni Association of the School of Journalism and Communication of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2011-2015). As an avid supporter of education, he has been a part-time lecturer at his alma mater since 1994, covering subjects such as “Financial Public Relations” and “Investor Relations” for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Richard is also the co-author ofPublic Relations Theory, published by the Commercial Press Hong Kong Limited.
Richard Tsang is an investor relations/PR veteran with over 25 years of industry experience in Asia. In 1995, at the age of 29, Richard founded Strategic Public Relations Group (“SPRG”) in Hong Kong, and in less than 15 years, he built it into the largest Asian independent PR network and the largest PR consultancy in Hong Kong.
Richard is the Chairman, APAC Region, Global Development Group of Public Relations Organisation International (“PROI Worldwide”), and assists the organisation in strategically expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. From 2009 to 2012, he served as Vice President, Asia-Pacific of PROI Worldwide.
